PAUL Groves has had good news today on the injury front with Alan Pouton been given the all clear to up his training on his specialist's advice.

On Mariners Net today Club Physio, Paul Mitchell is quoted as saying; "Alan saw a specialist yesterday, he's pleased with his progress and he's stepping it up."

But Stacy Coldicott is making very slow progress in his recovery despite doctors saying his broken leg is healing but will take a long time as the bone appears not knitted as it should have.

Marcel Cas is due to have his stitches removed this Friday but not expected to be in the lineup for the Brighton game.

Iain Anderson is expected to play in tomorrow's Reserve clash against Scunthorpe United at Blundell Park (2pm) and could be in the squad to meet Brighton.

Darren Mansaram is touch-and-go and Jason Crowe, who was ill yesterday, was back training today.
