JASON Crowe and Darren Barnard are both suspended for Sunday's trip down the A1 to Peterborough as Town aim to gain revenge for the recent FA Cup defeat at London Road. With Tony Crane due to pick up a three match ban in the new year, Paul Groves' squad will be stretched over the next few games.
Paul Groves had hinted he may drop Iffy Onuora for the Posh game as he didn't want the 36-year-old to play 2 games in 3 days. With Onuora being taken off in a tactical substitution on 18 minutes following Crane's sending off during Friday's explosive game with Oldham, Groves may now elect to keep the former Huddersfield striker in his starting line-up.
Paul Groves may elect to move Mike Edwards to Darren Barnard's left back slot, and bring Simon Ford into the central defence alongside Tony Crane.
Peterborough midfielder Matthew Gill will miss the game after picking up a one-match ban. Mark Arber's place is also in jeopardy after manager Barry Fry criticised the defender's performance in Friday's 2-1 defeat at Chesterfield.
Predicted Town side: Davison, McDermott, Crane, Ford, Edwards, Campbell, Hamilton, Pouton, Jevons, Onuora, Boulding, Mansaram
Subs: Cas, Mansaram, Groves, Anderson, Young
