Ronald Ermes | 2001/02 | 0 (0) | 0 goals |
Young goalkeeper who signed for the club in the summer of 2001 from Dutch club Feyenoord. Ronald joined along with Robby Busscher.
Ronald was the third choice keeper at Grimsby, behind Danny Coyne and Steve Croudson and ahead of Morgan Cranley, however when Croudson was injured, Ronald stepped up to a short term stint on the bench for the first team and was an un-used sub in the 2-1 away win at Liverpool.
Ronald was released before the end of the season but continued to train and play reserve team football for the club until he moved back to Holland. Last reports show that Ermes is the number 1 keeper for SC Feyenoord, the amateur B Team version to the Dutch Premiership Feyenoord team.
