Rochdale's Pitch Problem - Crisis Talks.

ROCHDALE Football Club are in crisis talks about their pitch condition which has resulted in two games against Grimsby Town being postponed.
The club with representatives from The Hornets who share the pitch and the stadium management are looking at what needs to be done.
The Manchester Eveneing News said that last weekend Rochdale boss Steve Parkin suggested the pitch was an embarrassment to everyone in the town - and it seems those in the boardroom agree.
The most important factor is the cost of the work needed with estimates up to 50,000 being suggested but that figure does not include levelling the pitch and resurfacing. It only includes digging up the pitch, laying drains and replacing the existing turf with some reseeding.
