Hull City Will Not Loan Out Bridges

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 30/07/2007

MANAGER of Hull City, Phil Brown has now rejected what he called an ambitious loan bid from Town. "Grimsby offered us a percentage of Michael's wages for a loan basis, but I don't think that is the way forward for Michael" said Brown to the Hull Daily Mail.

"At this moment in time he clearly seems to be wanting to play for Hull City. As long as he's showing that commitment, then he'll be a Hull City player this season.

"It was a very polite 'no' to Grimsby."

Alan Buckley however is looking at other players and waiting for some responses.
