Just Champion For Bradley!

BRADLEY Allen could be playing in the Champions League with Cypriot side Apoel Nicosia in the coming weeks after turning down an offer of League Football with Peterborough.
The former Grimsby striker turned Posh down because their offer was in his words "rubbish". At the moment to keep fit Allen is training with Conference side Barnet, where his cousin Martin is assistant manager. Although another Conference outfit Doncaster Rovers are the latest side to offer Bradley a contract, he is inclined to turn that down for fear of dropping out of the League.
"I could get money if I went to Doncaster Rovers where they've got a full-time set-up." Allen told the Grimsby Telegraph.
"I had an offer to go to Bristol Rovers with Ray Graydon in May but I turned that down, first and foremost, because I thought Grimsby would come back to me with an offer.
"Everyone knows I would have considered staying. I never thought the summer would go this badly.
"For me, the Bristol thing was the deal of the century but I turned that down out of loyalty to Grimsby and I've been kicked in the face. By that I'm extremely disappointed."
Bradley had spent three years at Blundell Park, but in that time only made 51 appearances with led to him being released this summer. Bradley has trained with Brighton, Oxford, and Barry Fry's Peterborough during the summer and now is at Barnet, while he looks for another club.
"I'm hoping by the end of the week to have something sorted out. If the Cyprus thing doesn't come off, maybe I'll wait for another couple of weeks and see if clubs commit themselves then" said Allen.
"People will wait and see how they start the season and maybe, if it doesn't go to plan, they'll want to do something then.
"But I want to be fixed up before that."
