TOWN'S reserves drew this afternoon at Blundell Park in a cup game with Middlesbrough. Grimsby's side included French trialist Kevin Tunani, plus Craig Davis a striker also on trial.
The 21-year-old French midfielder was granted international clearance to play in the game, and joined his compatriot Mickael Buscher who is yet to feature in the first team having signed a few weeks ago for Grimsby.
Town fielded a strong side including first teamers Matt Heywood, James Hunt, Chris Llewellyn, Danny North and Robbie Stockdale, the latter of whom is recovering from the hamstring injury he picked up in the Boxing Day defeat by Notts County.
Grimsby scored a late equaliser through Danny North who also rattled the cross bar at the death.
