Grimsby v Exeter - Team News

ROB Atkinson is suspended for Saturday's game with Exeter at Blundell Park, assuming it goes ahead after all the recent snow. The centre back has a one match suspension, which Town will be hoping does not turn out to be Tuesday's crunch game at Barnet.

After a long spell on the sidelines erstwhile club captain Matt Heywood came off the bench at Bradford following Atkinson's dismissal, and it's likely that the 29-year-old will step in to partner Ryan Bennett at the back.

The other enforced changed for Grimsby is that Jean Louis Akpro's hamstring injury means he will miss the game against the Grecians. New signing Adrian Forbes will almost certainly take his place in Town's attack. Failing that either Danny North or Peter Bore will get the nod from Town boss Mike Newell.

Exeter have signed two players from Spurs on loan in recent days. central defender Troy Archibald-Henville and winger David Hutton have both boosted the Devon's clubs ranks.
