GRIMSBY Youth Team have won the Puma Youth Alliance League Cup against QPR. Neil Woods's young guns had to come from behind to beat Rangers on their own patch.
Town had gone behind on six minutes when Josh Parker gave Rangers the lead. But left winger Kiel Thompson levelled a minute before half-time, and then top scorer Danny Freeman converted Josh Fuller's cross on 57 minutes to complete the turnaround.
Grim Rob Says Congratulations to all concerned, and let's hope most of the players go on to become professionals, hopefully with GTFC.
