Ademeno Leaves the Club

CHARLES Ademeno has left the club "by mutual consent" after an injury ravaged season at Blundell Park. The former Crawley striker, who had a year left on his contract, played just 12 times in the 2010-2011 season, and hardly managed an injury-free month despite several operations.
Another player who has left the club is defender Dwayne Samuels, who also suffered from an injury-plagued season. The former Baggie started just nine times for Town, plus made two appearances from the bench.
Grim Rob Says: It was a tragedy last season that Ademeno could not play more, as had he done so Town would probably have got a lot closer to the promotion places. However ultimately we have to take the blame for getting a player who was basically crocked. Hopefully this season we'll have learned from our mistakes and will spend our money more wisely - we cannot afford to have our highest paid players missing all season through injuries they had before they even arrived at the club.
