Kidderminster v Grimsby Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 04/04/2014

GRIMSBY have a full squad available as they bid to make it three away wins on the trot at Kidderminster. Town have ground out 1-0 wins in the matches at Hereford and Wrexham in the last week, but Kidderminster will be the hardest of the trio as they are fellow challengers for a play-off spot.

Craig Disley and Shaun Pearson both received knocks in the midweek win at Wrexham. Andi Thanoj came in for the suspended Scott Kerr, so Paul Hurst will have to decide which of Disley, Kerr and Thanoj to leave out for the Kidderminster game. Paddy McLaughlin also came in to the side for Wrexham, playing on the left side of midfield, and the midfielder scored the winning goal for the Mariners.

Centre back Chey Dunkley could return for Kidderminster after recovering from a knee operation. He could come in for fellow defender Josh Gowling (pelvis). Another defended who is injured is Danny Jackman (ankle). Kidderminster have two players suspended, both midfielders: Captain Kyle Storer was sent off during Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Salisbury, and Callum Gittings picked up his 10th yellow card of the season in the same game.

Grimsby beat Kidderminster 3-1 at Blundell Park earlier this season, ending a run of seven matches without a win against the Harriers.
