Pre-Season Update

GRIMSBY completed a satisfactory week of pre-season with wins over Scunthorpe in the Lincolnshire Cup and Barnsley in a pre-season game. It means Town have won all five in pre-season games so far.
Lloyd Is grove gave the visitors the lead in the first half, but second-half strikers from Bairiki Dembele and trialist Brandon Robinson turned the game around after the break. In the Scunthorpe cup game Adi Yussuf, Andrew Boyce, Harry Cardwell and Brandon Robinson all found the target and Grimsby will play fortuitously Boston away in a matched now deemed to be the final on July 22nd.
Town's pre-season continues with the midweek games in Devon at Bideford on Tuesday and Tavistock on Thursday, before the Boston cup game.
