Town Face non-League Opposition

GRIMSBY will face Ebbsfleet United or Slough Town in Round 1 of the FA Cup. Town, multiple giant killers last year, will face a roll reversal with non-league opposition. National League South side Slough play a replay at home to National League Ebbsfleet on Tuesday. The first game at the weekend ended 2-2.

Town lost two seasons ago at non-league Kidderminster in their last match against lower league opponents in the FA Cup, when Grimsby were themselves non-league. Last year at the same stage Grimsby faced Plymouth who were top of League One at the time, and won 5-1.
