Ice In My Stomach

David Nielsen has been speaking to the Danish media again saying that he has "ice in his stomach" about a permanent move to Grimsby. Lennie Lawrence, currently in Copenhagen speaking to the Danish striker and his club, is trying to persuade the cult hero at Blundell Park to join Town full time.

According to the Danish press this evening Nielsen is biding his time, and is suggesting that he will wait until the end of his three month spell on loan at Blundell Park before making a decision.

Speaking today to the Danish press in Copenhagen Nielsen said: "The time in Grimsby has been excellent, and I would like to stay at the club. Even though it is one of the small clubs, after all it is the English first division.

"I know that Grimsby's manager wants to buy me, with the start I have had there, but I have 'ice in my stomach'. Therefore I will wait until the three month loan period ends, before I decide what to do."
