Dartford v Grimsby Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 10/04/2014

GRIMSBY and Dartford have to lick their wounds are go back into battle just 24-hours after their previous games. Both clubs have three matches this week and it will be a case of picking whoever has recovered from Tuesday night's games.

Left back Aswad Thomas (ankle) is definitely missing for Grimsby, while for Dartford midfielder Elliot Bradbrook (thigh) is a doubt. Young Grimsby defender Caine Winfarrah has been recalled from work experience at Gainsborough and is set to be in tonight's squad, probably on the bench.

Both clubs needs points for different reasons. Town have had games in hand over the other sides around them for some time, and this is an opportunity to gain some points in one of them. If they pick up points tonight the Mariners will consolidate their third place position. Dartford look dead and buried a few weeks ago, but they have gained some improved results of late and stand a chance of avoiding relegation if they win most of their remaining games.

Grimsby have won three out of the last four games with Dartford and never lost in either of their two visits to Princess Park.
