Season starts and ends at BP

GRIMSBY begin the 2018-2019 season at Blundell Park against Forest Green, the final opponents of the previous campaign. Town won that game 3-0, their finest win of the season, and the third goal was awarded Goal of the Season.
The season kicks off on 4th August, then the Mariners then travel to Macclesfield a week later, before the first derby with Lincoln (at Blundell Park) on August 18th.
The Mariners take on Newport away on the Saturday of the bank holiday weekend. Town have plenty of travelling at Christmas when they play Port Vale away on Boxing Day and Exeter away on the following Saturday.
Town return to Stevenage, scene of "Bragate" last season on 22nd September. Some fans may boycott the match, others may use it as an opportunity to protest at their treatment next year.
Good Friday sees Grimsby travel to Colchester and the final game of the season is at Blundell Park when the Mariners finish with Crewe.
